When Reading a Book is Nearly Useless

Reading is valuable.

Leaders are readers.

CEO’s on average read more books than the rest of the population and research shows that most of them read long before they were CEOs.

And, 33% of adults never read another book after high school.

So it seems like reading is a good idea.

However, if you’re just reading a book, it could be nearly useless to you over the long run.

In other words, you’re probably not getting out if that book what you think you are or what you want.

Why?

I explain it in this Facebook post (A quick point of clarification, I’m taking mostly about non-fiction in this post):

In your corner,

Sean
